23 FEBRUARY
Just been for a long cycle ride around South Cambridgeshire.
I really must get a camera and post up pics of the beautiful,
awe-inspiring travelling radio telescope array near Haslingfield.
The dishes and antennae looked amazing in the early morning fog. Coo.

I remapped the colours on this originally greyscale glitch to
represent the colours of some Olympic sports team circa 1971.
You know what I mean - all washed-out blues and yellows and oranges.
The original glitch was tiny, and I can't remember where I caught it.
So that's good.

Das Deutsch lernen geht ganz gut. Darf Ich Herr Glitsch vorstellen? Ja ja!

Next week: buying a postage stamp for your email.

Just been informed of this REVIEW of the Interplay Festival from November last year.
Hey, you can see my big purple glitches (2nd photo from bottom). Fnaaar.

Lembit Opik. Opac. PrintScreen. Amber terminal. Teletype in my heart.
A Tektronix terminal in your iris. When I had my ZX81 in 1981, I
bought a green plastic TV screen overlay to convert greyscale into greenscale.
Unfortunately I don't think WHSmith sell them now. I am proud of my Nation Blood!
I once offered Sir Clive Sinclair a vol-au-vent at a rave. He declined,
but showed me how to write "710.0553" on his red LED Calculating Engine™.
BTW, vol-au-vent means "volume of the windy day". They are nice and light and
an absolutely ideal party food item.

Ooh, another stripey one! Looks like an old TV receiving device that's not
properly tuned to the Interlude. Potter's Wheel anyone?

The data was supplied by the file PST1141.tmp down C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\.
Goddamn it. I feel like a right old tramp, rummaging around in the wastebin
areas of my computer, trying to find a bit of sushi-to-go. Yo!

This is a bit of file data visualization in char-sized chunks.
It's the stride that determines the angle of the streaks.
It's the remapping of the colour table that wipes off the computery look.
