These images are based on some code I wrote on my Dragon 32 home computer in 1984, when I was a teenager. The digital information in the computer's electronic memory, or RAM, is displayed on screen as black-and-white patterns. Then, these images have been slightly mistuned via a TV tuner, which creates the coloured fringes, called "chroma crawl". I have long been fascinated by images which are simultaneously black-and-white, yet highly colourful at the same time.
